Here is a lovely vintage bento lunch box from the seventies. It has a delightful illustration by famed manga artist, Chieko Hosokawa.

This bento box design is very rare.

The bento box is in unused and brand new condition and comes with a plastic elephant-shaped sauce bottle and the bento space divider. Due to age, the outer plastic packaging shows signs of wear. The bento is made of aluminium. According to the description on the packaging, this is a large-sized bento box.

Made in Japan.
